This is a place where I post some of my musical ideas and short clips. Sometimes they are complete but most often they are just short ideas I'm working on, or maybe just an idea I'm trying out to see how it works. I feel like this showcases some of my best playing. My guard is down, and I'm just freely trying stuff out. Check back often as I'm always adding new clips (Links will open streaming files in new window) browser note: this site is coded for Internet Explorer and Netscape 4.x. I really like this little piece. I feel like I put alot of feeling into it Good Times (203k-1:23) This was an improvisation I had done in G. The melody was something I had been humming for quite a while. To me it seems to call to mind to those times you spend with your best buds, an ice cold beer within easy reach (setting on my guitar amp), and your favorite axe in hand. I used my red Washburn, Digitech RP3 and my Crate TD70 Fairwell My Friend, Good Journey (332k-2:15) This was another improvisation I had done in Am. I have never really told anyone, but I recorded this after my brother in law died, just before his funeral. He probably wouldn't have liked it. The only tape he ever owned that I'm aware of is Percy Sledge. I still thought the title suited it though. Red Washburn, RP3, TD70 Metal (196k-1:20) This is a heavy metal romp im E minor. I compressed the file too small and it sounds crappy, but its still fun. Sweep Picking (28.2k-0:11) Just me sweeping some six string arpegios. This marked the end of the RP3-Crate TD70 days. Is my Red Washburn through my Boss ME33 and Peavey Bandit. I missed one of the thirds coming back down. Julie's Tail Lights (372k-2:32) I wrote this about 5 am one morning after watching Julie's car pull away. Was my blue Washburn, ME33, and Bandit. Passion (252k-1:43) This one blows me away every time i hear it. It captures so much feeling and combines so many techniques. its my Blue Washburn, ME33, and Bandit Do or Die (192k-1:19) woah are those Drums I hear. This is a Rocking little tune. I used my strat (post mods) through my ME33, and Bandit. The drums are from PC Drummer www.pcdrummer.com |
